A PROACTIVE APPROACH
Managing Risk, Protecting People
We recognize that our clients view safety as more than just compliance—safety includes protecting people, minimizing risk, and maintaining project momentum without unnecessary disruptions. Consequently, we approach every project with these priorities in mind. Safety guides every decision, at every level.
Whether your facility remains occupied during construction or your project involves multiple trades, proactive planning helps reduce risk before work begins. During preconstruction and throughout a project, our teams evaluate site conditions, identify potential hazards, and develop project-specific safety plans. Because we self-perform much of our work, field crews directly reinforce these expectations, supporting transparent communication and safe, efficient execution.
Consistent safety practices help reduce incidents that can impact schedules, operations, and project costs. For this reason, every JCP employee is trained to follow documented procedures, communicate potential hazards, and maintain accountability throughout a project.

BUILT ON RESPECT
Shared Accountability
Although safety is a non-negotiable requirement on every job site, we also view it as a promise each team member makes to one another. Respect functions as the foundation for this accountability—not only for the work and its associated risks, but for the people performing it. This mutual respect empowers our teams and creates a shared responsibility for maintaining a safe, productive job site.
Construction projects are dynamic: conditions change, timelines shift, and challenges arise. By combining dedicated field safety leadership with the commitment of each team member, we foster communication, preparation, and teamwork throughout every phase of a project. Together, these efforts ensure safe, efficient project delivery while helping protect your people, your property, your schedule, and your investment.
Safety Leadership Support
Strong safety performance requires active leadership. To achieve this, JCP Construction employs an in-house Field Safety Supervisor, BCSP STSC, CHST who works alongside project teams by conducting site inspections, providing compliance guidance, and coaching crews in the field. This hands-on approach helps to identify potential issues early, to support consistent safety practices, and to reinforce accountability across every job site, thereby providing reliable outcomes.
And safety leadership at JCP Construction extends beyond one individual. Ownership, project managers, superintendents, foremen, and field crews lead with accountability, sharing responsibility for maintaining a safe, well-managed project. Safety is truly a priority at every level of the organization—from start to finish, in each daily decision that supports successful project delivery.
